After winning the Miss Bangalore title, Garima Pradhan is offered a lead role in a movie. She resists the temptation, preferring to complete her MBA course. She then takes up a job in a bank where one day she meets Deven Herai, a high value customer, in a most unromantic situation. The two, nevertheless, fall for each other soon and after a brief courtship, they tie the knot. Garima is soon disillusioned... she finds herself reduced to a trophy wife... Unfazed with the difficulties, she fights back and emerges victorious, and discovers the purpose and peace in life 










SUMMARY /REVIEW OF THE BOOK :- 
Garima Pradhan wore the title of Miss Banglore,all through her adloescence she she had received only  adulation.People were amazed of her beauty.Miss Banglore was the most awaited prize title which she want to grab.However,she waited till she was 21 & in the final year of her MBA course .Because she was keen to take professional degree before taking a plunge in the wolrd of glamour.

After winning the title ,Garima felt the world at her feet.Tomorrow she would be on the front pages of the newspaper.
Life is full of delightful surprises & sometimes inglorious uncertainities.
Now Reghu Reddy well know director tried hard to convince Garima for signing 3 films & offered her Rs 10 Lakh as bondage amount..Raghu Reddy insisted Garima to join acting classes which were about to start after 6 month .In between Garima is free,so she thought of joining bank job & started soon.Gaima began to work in earnest,giving her best.

While she was working, she saw  Deven Herai is a 34 year old handsome men belonging to rich family & is an entreprenaur.Several karanataka ploiticians & ministers were on his so called pay roll.
& soon both felt for each other & married.

After that Garima left both job & his career.After soon months, days ...She started feeling exhaust & one night Deven tried to come close her & forced her,as if using her..He was drunk & was not concious.She tried to escape,but she couldn't.She wasnt mentally present in the bed while he was inside her.

Next morning, Garima made her mind & thought to leave Deven.she wont compromise any more with her life.She retuned to her home to meet her ,ON the way in between ISCON TEMPLE came, aarti  & serene music was  she felt peace there .& suddenly everything came in flashback,Her past.She had chance to enter in glamour world ,to make career.


After returning home, Garima laid stress on focussing her career & started preparing for IAS.After her second attempt she cleared it all becoz of  her hardwork & dedication .His father supported her always.
& Now she is an IPS OFFICER.

I MUST SAY THIS IS THE BEST BOOK I EVER CAME ACROSS ...

THIS IS A  STORY OF STRENGTH , COURAGE & SUCCESS...Story of Garima to become INDEPENDENT WOMEN & RISE AFTER FALLING  WITHOUT THINKING ABOUT THE SOCIETY OR PEOPLE AROUND HER WOULD SAY . "


I WOULD HAVE GIVEN FULL 5 STARS. BUT EMOTIONAL ELEMENT IS MISSING,SO O WOULD GIVE IT  4.5 STARS ...WOW, OSUM READ! THANKS TO THE AUTHOR FOR SENDING ME SUCH A GOOD BOOK  


About the author :-
PeeKay (Prashant Kumar Singh) hails from a family of political leaders and bureaucrats. After his schooling in Kanpur, he graduated from Allahabad University in political science and philosophy. As per the family tradition, he spent a few golden years of his life attempting to get into civil services after completing his MBA from Delhi. After unsuccessful attempts in civil service exams and a couple of entrepreneurial projects, he switched to the corporate sector and became a banker. He currently manages the Wealth Management portfolio of a leading bank in India. He counsels on parenting, career and relationship issues, which has helped many and has earned him the title of 'Banker by profession but Human Behaviourlist by nature'. This is his debut novel.
